Growing into his fabulous hair!
I went to see William again yesterday. He has changed so much since our first meet at the hospital. I find it hard to remember I'm there to take photos and not there to cuddle William whilst chatting to his mum and dad.
I experimented with a smaller, lighter studio set up this time, I relied on the beautiful Suffolk sun we had here yesterday and my large reflector to bounce a bit of light back. It worked a treat, just enough light to highlight William's dimples and show off his big blue eyes.
I managed to get a few shots of him relaxing in the basket before he decided to go on a feeding frenzy! I like to aim to get a good few shots of newborns sleeping, they look peaceful and tend to not experiment with how many faces they can pull within a 5 second timeframe. Every time William nodded off after a feed we placed him within the frame but he kept waking up to tell us he'd rather be snuggled up with his mum, and I don't blame him!
We got there though, he pulled out all the cute in the end.
I'm learning so much from these newborn shoots.
Patience is the one and only thing that is truly important, oh and warm hands!
