Having married in Suffolk myself, I too had the task of choosing from so many beautiful locations to celebrate my big day. We knew we wanted a barn conversion or similar, it had to have beautiful grounds and if possible would be in a location that meant something to our families.

Having been a wedding photographer in Suffolk for a few years previous to our big day I had already had the luxury of spending time in a lot of wedding venues in Suffolk. We eventually decided to get married at Leiston Abbey. The grounds are spectacular and the facilities were just what we were looking for. We could get married in the same place that we could have our reception party and all our guests could stay over allowing everyone to have breakfast together the following morning.

Here are my top 5 wedding venues in Suffolk, all offering unique benefits for your special day.
